In 1974 2 brothers ran a small company that distributed suspension components for dirt bikes. In 1977, the company split into what became Fox Racing (later Fox Head Inc.) under Geoff Fox, and Bob Fox's Fox Racing Shox parts manufacturing company, Fox Factory. Today, Fox Racing Shox is known as an American company that mainly produces high-end off-road racing suspension components.
